Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

This statement outlines the ethical standards for all parties involved in the publication process of Ekraf: Jurnal Ekonomi Kreatif dan Inovatif Indonesia, including authors, editors, peer reviewers, and the publisher. The journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and preventing any form of publication malpractice.


Section A: Publication and Authorship

  • All manuscripts submitted to Ekraf undergo a strict peer-review process by at least two reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.

  • The journal uses a double-blind review process to ensure impartiality.

  • Review criteria include relevance, scientific soundness, originality, significance, readability, and use of appropriate language.

  • Editorial decisions include: acceptance, acceptance with revisions, or rejection.

  • Manuscripts must not be submitted to or published in more than one journal simultaneously.


Section B: Authors' Responsibilities

  • Authors must ensure their manuscripts are original and free from plagiarism.

  • Manuscripts must not have been published or submitted elsewhere.

  • Authors must actively participate in the peer-review process.

  • Any errors discovered after publication must be promptly reported for correction or retraction.

  • All listed authors must have made a significant contribution to the research.

  • Authors must declare that the data presented is accurate and authentic.

  • Any conflicts of interest must be disclosed.

  • Authors must properly cite all sources used.

  • Funding sources and acknowledgments must be clearly stated.


Section C: Reviewers' Responsibilities

  • Reviewers must treat all manuscripts as confidential and must not share or discuss them with others.

  • Reviews must be conducted objectively, with constructive feedback and no personal criticism.

  • Reviewers should identify relevant works not cited and bring to the editor’s attention any possible plagiarism or ethical issues.

  • Reviewers must avoid evaluating manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest.


Section D: Editors' Responsibilities

  • Editors have full authority over the editorial decision-making process.

  • Editors are responsible for maintaining the academic integrity and quality of the journal.

  • Editors must ensure a fair, unbiased review and publication process.

  • Editors must protect the anonymity of reviewers.

  • Editors should publish corrections, retractions, or clarifications when necessary.
