The Volume 3, Issue 1 (2025) of International Journal of Mathematics and Science Education in Distance Learning (IJMSED) presents diverse research contributions across mathematics education, biology education, and educational technology. Prasetya et al. explore the role of the GeoGebra-assisted 6E-IM model in enhancing students’ spatial abilities, showing how dynamic visualization supports geometry learning. Usyriyah et al. develop online learning tools for teaching binomial nomenclature in high schools, making taxonomy more interactive and accessible. Amalia et al. investigate the effect of Word Wall Game on biodiversity material, finding that it significantly improves students’ learning outcomes and classroom engagement. Hapsari and Darmawan introduce the plaque number board to help visualize the concept of exponents through simple proofs, reducing misconceptions in learning algebra. Finally, Anisa et al. conduct a hermeneutic phenomenological study on students’ lived experiences with technology in mathematics learning, revealing both the benefits and challenges of integrating digital tools in Indonesian secondary education. Collectively, these studies provide valuable insights into innovative teaching models, the integration of digital tools, and the development of engaging learning media across science and mathematics education.
